Bogoljub Marković

Biography

Bogoljub Markovic was born on July 12, 2005. in Uzice. He came to Mega during the summer of 2021. Already in the first season in the youth selections of the club, he won three titles, U18 ANGT Euroleague, ABA U19 league and the title of champion of Serbia in U17 league.

In the previous season, he won ABA U19 title and the title of junior champion of Serbia, and he also made his debut for the first team of Mega. In the junior Euroleague, he recorded 15 points and 8.6 rebounds per match, while in the junior championship of Serbia he had 22.4 points, 10 rebounds and 1.6 blocks per match.

At the beginning of the new 2024/25 season in the ABA League, he was named the Most Valuable Player for September and October.

He played for the cadet national team of Serbia at the U17 World Championship in 2022, and won gold for the juniors of Serbia at the U18 European Championship in 2023.

In November 2024, he made his debut for the senior national team in the qualifying window for EuroBasket 2025. In the game against Denmark at the Aleksandar Nikolić Hall, he scored 3 points and grabbed 4 rebounds in 14 minutes on the court.
