Following a big win over Spartak Subotica, Mega Superbet will face Cibona in Zagreb in Round 28 of the ABA League. The game is scheduled for Monday, April 21, at 9:00 PM at Dražen Petrović Hall, with live broadcast on TV Arena Sport.

Mega Superbet head coach Marko Barać shared his thoughts ahead of the clash with the Croatian side:

– We’re up against a well-coached team that has been together for a long time. Cibona plays very organized and smart basketball — they have excellent shooters and demand our full defensive focus. We’ve had good practices, and I hope we can translate that into the game,”

said Barać.

Mega Superbet player Andrija Jelavić is confident about the team’s chances:

– We’re currently in a really good rhythm, and that’s very important for us. The end of the season is near, and this is the most crucial stretch as we fight for a playoff spot. Cibona has been a solid team throughout the season, and it’s never easy playing them, especially in Zagreb — but we believe in ourselves and in getting the win,”

Jelavić added.

Heading into Round 28, Mega Superbet holds a 14–13 record, while Cibona stands at 4–23. In the first half of the season, Coach Barać’s squad cruised to a dominant 88–58 win at home, improving their all-time head-to-head record against the Zagreb team to 15–8.
