MEGA MIS AT GRIPE AGAINST SPLIT, BARAĆ: “WE NEED TO KEEP PLAYING THE RIGHT WAY AND BE MORE MOTIVATED THAN ANY OPPONENT”
After four consecutive wins at the start of the ABA League season, the basketball players of Mega MIS will face the Split team in the 5th round of the regional competition at Gripe. The match is scheduled for Saturday, October 19, at 7:00 PM, with a live broadcast on TV Arena Sport.
Mega MIS coach Marko Barać shared his expectations ahead of the new ABA League away game:
“We are facing an extremely difficult away game against a quality Split team, which beat Crvena Zvezda at home. We want to keep playing the right way and be more motivated than any opponent. We have to be up to the task and play almost a perfect game if we want to put ourselves in a position to win,” Barać said.
Mega MIS player Sergej Macura emphasized that the team is ready for another quality test:
“I expect a good game; Split plays very well at home. They beat Crvena Zvezda. This will be a tough test for us. We are ready. We’ve worked hard, and we feel great. I think we will keep winning,” Macura added.
Mega MIS enters the 5th round match with a perfect 4-0 record, while Split has recorded its only win at home against Crvena Zvezda and welcomes Marko Barać’s team with a 1-3 record. The upcoming duel will be the ninth between Split and Mega in the ABA League, with both teams having four wins each.
