MEGA MIS HOSTS MORNAR, BARAĆ: “THEY HAVE A RECOGNIZABLE OFFENSIVE SYSTEM AND VERY SKILLED SCORERS, WE EXPECT THE TOUGHEST POSSIBLE WORK ON DEFENSE”
After three consecutive wins at the start of the new season, Mega MIS basketball team will host Mornar from Bar in the 4th round of the ABA League. The game is scheduled for Sunday, October 13, at 12:00, at the Ranko Žeravica Sports Hall. Admission is free, and tickets can be collected at the Sports Hall box office starting at 11:00 until the game begins.
Mega MIS head coach Marko Barać shared his expectations ahead of the 4th round of the regional competition:
“Mornar is a team that is improving from game to game and will surely be a tough opponent. They have a recognizable offensive system, an experienced coach, and very skilled scorers. Our goal is to continue the good performances we’ve had at the start of the season. We expect the toughest possible work on defense to put ourselves in a position to win this game,” said Barać.
Mega MIS player Bogoljub Marković wants to keep up his strong performances:
“In the first three games, we stayed focused, followed the coach’s instructions, and we need to keep that going. I think Mornar will come out with a lot more energy to try and surprise us. If we are once again at our best and do everything the coach asks of us, I don’t think we will have any problems. Mornar should not be underestimated despite their poor start to the season. We know where we stand, and we are going for the win,” added Marković.
Mega MIS started the season with a 3-0 record, while Mornar comes to the Sports Hall at 0-3. In the 15 games played between these two ABA League rivals, Mega has been more successful with 10 wins.
