MEGA MIS BEGINS PREPARATIONS FOR THE NEW SEASON
Today, the Mega MIS basketball players started preparations for the new 2024/25 competitive season at the Dejan Milojević Training Center. Team coach Marko Barać had twelve players at the first practice: Bogoljub Marković, Filip Jović, Mihailo Petrović, Andrija Jelavić, Aleksa Milenković, Mihailo Milutinović, Timotej Malovec, Marko Vukčević, Sergej Macura, Dušan Tanasković, Kosta Kondić, and Stefan Miljenović, who is recovering from a knee injury. Jack Kyle and Urban Kroflič will join the team after the Under-18 European Championship, which is being held in Finland.
Coach Barać has the same coaching staff as last season, now reinforced with two new members: Petar Radonjić (former coach of the cadet team) and Nikola Milojević, who will be debuting in this role.
The Mega players are training in Belgrade, with a series of practice games planned for mid-August. After these matches, the players and coaching staff will travel to the United States, where they will play two training games in Santa Cruz on September 4 and 6 against a selection of the NBA G League’s best players.
The ABA league season will begin on September 20, and Mega will face the Krka team from Novo Mesto in the first round.
We wish our team the best of luck in the new season!
