U17 MEGA MIS SECURE SPOT IN THE FINALS OF THE TRIGLAV SERBIAN CADET LEAGUE WITH A DOMINANT WIN AGAINST RED STAR

The U17 Mega MIS team has reached the final of the Triglav Serbian Cadet League tournament after convincingly defeating their counterparts from Red Star 91-65 (22-17, 20-13, 27-13, 22-22) in the semifinals. Coach Petar Radonjić’s team had already established a double-digit lead by halftime, and in the third quarter, they completely broke the resistance of their opponents, leading by a significant 26 points before the decisive 10 minutes. They comfortably maintained their advantage and advanced to the final battle for the trophy, where they will face either Partizan or Dinamik.

The top scorer in the big triumph was Ognjen Srzentić, who scored 26 points and collected 10 rebounds for a PIR of 28. However, the most valuable player in the winning lineup was Petar Ostojić, who had a unique triple-double of 13 points, 12 rebounds, and an impressive 10 blocks—all resulting in a PIR of 30. Vuk Danilović also performed excellently, scoring 15 points, seven rebounds, and four assists (PIR 20).

The U17 Mega MIS team will now compete for their fifth overall and third consecutive Serbian champion title against either Partizan or Dinamik on Sunday, May 12, at 7:30 PM, also at the Ranko Žeravica Sports Hall in New Belgrade.
