U17 MEGA MIS SECURE SEMIFINAL SPOT WITH CONVINCING VICTORY OVER SLOBODA

The U17 Mega MIS team has successfully set off in pursuit of their third consecutive national champion title, as they convincingly defeated Sloboda in the quarterfinals of the Triglav Cadet League of Serbia’s final F8 tournament at the Ranko Žeravica Sports Hall, 101-63 (21-20, 29-18, 21-17, 30-8). After a close first quarter, the team led by coach Petar Radonjić pulled away by halftime and then continued to increase their lead until the decisive 10 minutes, when they broke their opponent and ultimately celebrated a convincing victory.

Standing out in the winning lineup was Pavle Bačko, with a double-double of 23 points and 10 rebounds for a PIR of 35. Excellent performances were also delivered by Ognjen Srzentić with 16 points and 11 rebounds (PIR 24), Nikola Karalić with 19 points, six rebounds, and four assists (PIR 25), as well as Vuk Danilović who scored 14 points, with seven assists (PIR 23).

Mega MIS will play in the semifinals against the winner of the match between Crvena Zvezda and Mladost and will compete in the final on Saturday, May 11, at 5:00 PM, also at the Sports Hall.
