MEGA MIS ЈUNIORS MADE IT TO THE FINAL OF U19 ABA LEAGUE WITH 66-POINT SURPLUS, TO DEFEND THE THRONE AGAINST SC DERBY

The juniors of Mega MIS have started their defense of the regional champion title in a splendid manner. They convincingly defeated Cibona in the semifinals of the U19 ABA League Final Four with a score of 116:50 (27:15, 33:17, 26:10, 30:8). The team led by Dragoljub Avramović increased its lead from quarter to quarter. By halftime, their advantage was already 28 points, and the young Mega players further extended it by 16 points in the third quarter, making it clear who would emerge as the winner.

A grand finale awaits as the juniors of Mega MIS will battle for the title against their counterparts from SC Derby, who defeated Igokea in the first semifinal.

The most effective player for Mega was Bogoljub Marković with 19 points, registering five rebounds for a PIR of 23. However, the most valuable player was Filip Jović, who was close to a double-double with 17 points and eight rebounds (PIR 27). Ognjen Srzentić followed them with 14 points, Urban Kroflič with 13, and Abdramane Siby with 11 points (six rebounds).

It’s worth noting that all players had the opportunity to contribute and that all 12 of Avramović’s selected players got on the scoresheet.

The final match of the U19 ABA League Final Four will also be played at the Dogus Sports Academy in Novi Pazar, scheduled for Thursday, April 18, at 19:00.
