MEGA MIS VISITS ŽELEZNIK, BARAĆ: “LET’S PLAY WITH A LOT OF CONCENTRATION AND RESPOND TO FMP’S TOUGH GAME ON THEIR HOME COURT”

Mega MIS basketball team will be playing as guests against FMP Soccerbet in the third round of the ABA League. The match is scheduled for Monday, October 16th, at 8:00 PM, with a live broadcast on TV Arena Sport. Both teams have played very close matches at the start of the season, and the upcoming game sees Mega with a record of 0-2, while FMP has one win and one loss.

Coach Marko Barać is aware of what it takes for his team to compete with the opponent on their home court and put themselves in a position to achieve a positive result:

“After two games that we played very closely, we are facing another tough away game. We used the time to scout and work on our game. FMP completely changed the look of their outer line through supplementary selection, and now it’s a completely different team compared to the preparation period. We need to play with a lot of concentration and respond to the tough game the opponent plays on their court,” said Barać.

During the week between the second and third rounds of the regional competition, Mega took the opportunity to play a friendly match against Dinamik Balkan Bet and improved their mood for the duel in Železnik with a convincing 80-54 victory. Timotej Malovec also hopes for their first triumph in the ABA League:

“We expect a tough match against FMP on their home court. We had a bit more time this week and we used it to correct the mistakes we made in the previous game. I hope we’ll play the best we can and achieve the much-needed victory,” added Malovec.

Mega and FMP basketball teams have faced each other 14 times in the ABA League so far, and it’s interesting that both teams have seven victories in their head-to-head encounters.
