A CONVINCING TRIUMPH OF THE MEGA MIS U18 TEAM AT THE START OF THE RISING STARS TOURNAMENT; FOR THE FINALS AGAINST PERISTERI

At the start of the Rising Stars tournament in Patra, the U18 team of Mega MIS convincingly defeated their peers from PAOK 96:62 (24:26, 22:11, 23:15, 27:10). Dragoljub Avramović’s team was slowly finding their rhythm, so they lost the first quarter, but they turned the score around by halftime and gained a significant advantage. In the third quarter, they paved the way to victory, and then in the last 10 minutes, they completely outclassed their opponent and made it to the semi-finals, where they will meet the Peristeri team.

Filip Jović led Mega to victory over PAOK with a double-double of 22 points and ten rebounds. Asim Đulović was also excellent, scoring a double-double with 16 points and ten rebounds. Bogoljub Marković added 13 points, while Abdramane Siby had 10 points.

Mega MIS will fight for a place in the finals against Peristeri, who defeated Deka 71:65, and the match is scheduled for tonight at 8:00 pm. In case of triumph, on Sunday from 3:00 pm, they will fight for the trophy with the better of the duel between Panathinaikos and the Rising Stars team, while the match for the third place is scheduled from 12:45.
