MILOJEVIC: “WE DIDN’T FIND SOLUTION FOR THEIR LOWER FIVE, NEXT MATCH WE MUST WIN”

Hard night for the Mega Bemax basketball players who after the plus 17 in the last quarter dropped a victory against Cedevita which eventually celebrated with 77:81 within the 6th round of the ABA League.

The solid party before 1600 spectators in the hall PSC Pinki was provided by Stefan Sinovec with 11 points and 4 rebounds. At a press conference after the match, Sinovec pointed out that this defeat hurts a lot:

– Very hard defeat for us. In the first half we played a good defense, we dropped Cedevita to 26 points and in the third quarter we made a big difference. And then we all spilled it. We stopped with the attack, and the defense received too many points. We did not settle to their low five, we took over players badly and this defeat really hurts,

said Sinovec.

Coach of Mega Bemax Dejan Milojevic stated that the team did not find solution on Cedevita’s lower five in the last quarter:

– Heavy defeat. We had everything in our hands, a lead of 17 points difference, but we did not find solution for their lower five. We tried to respond also with the low five, but we did not defend good one on one. We easily took the baskets, they dropped the advantage and entered the uncertain finish in which Cedevita had a little more luck and deservedly celebrated. Let’s move on, we play the next match with the MZT that we must win,
