MUSHIDI VISITED FIRST PRACTICE OF “MEGA’S 100”

First practices for the participants of the free basketball school “Mega’s 100”, which was organized for boys born in 2007 and 2008, were this weekend the Mega Factory hall in Belgrade. A large number of gathered children had the opportunity to make their first basketball steps, while some of them who had already trained basketball before, continued to gain new skills.

At the first practices of “Mega’s 100”, basketball player of Mega Bemax Kostja Mushidi, reminded himself of his basketball beginnings, addressed the gathered children:

– Ten years ago I was in a similar position where you are today. At the beginning, it does not matter how much you know, how talented you are, if everything is easy for you or not. The most important thing is to love basketball because everything goes from that. Some of you will all go easy at first, some not, but it’s important to be disciplined and make a lot of effort. Follow your dreams, work diligently, because the guys in the paintings behind you (Jokic, Luwawu, Zubac and Zagorac) have worked for them. Basketball is a beautiful sport and I congratulate you on your choice, with the desire to realize your dreams through,

said Mushidi, who then answered various questions of children, and among them was a boy who came to the practice from Sremska Mitrovica, where he regularly watch Mega Bemax.

After the completion of the chat Mushidi with children, a joint photo of all gathered followed.

Practices for the participants of the “Mega’s 100” will be held every Saturday in the Mega Factory hall in Belgrade at Brace Jerkovic 119a street, until January 31, 2018, so that a large number of children will have the opportunity to make the first basketball steps, or to learn new basketball skills. Practices will be led by Dalibor Radenovic and Marko Cekanovic together with their associates, trainers with great experience of working with children.

After several practices and better acquaintances with the level of basketball skills of children, young basketball players will be divided into four training groups, named after Mega’s NBA basketball players: “Joka”, “Timi”, “Ico” and “Zagor”. In this way, practices will be adapted to the current level of basketball knowledge of children, so that they have appropriate training programs.

In about ten years, some of these kids may also recall their basketball beginnings and tell other kids that they start loving basketball.
