GREAT FINISH OF MEGA FOR WIN AGAINST VRSAC

Players of Mega Leks reached the second win in Mozzart Super League as in another exciting finish mastered Vrsac with 93:91 (27:23, 19:26, 24:22, 23:20). In the nice atmosphere of the hall PSC Pinki in Sremska Mitrovica players of Dejan Milojevic trailed by eight points in less than four minutes to the end, but they eventually came to victory after free throws of Jaramaz to 6 seconds left and defended the last attack. Coach of Mega in this match because of injury could not count on Kostja Mushidi and to the game due to illness did not enter Radosav Spasojevic.

The most efficient in the ranks of Mega Leks were Jaramaz with 24 and Lesic with 22 points while for the guests the best was Stojadinovic with 17 points. After three rounds, Mega has a score of 2-1 and the next match, which will be played on Tuesday, May 2 at 18:00, will play away against Crvena zvezda mts.

Dejan Milojevic started match with the following five: Novak Jaramaz, Simeunovic, Lesic and Kaba. After the equal start, Mega over Simeunovic (11 points without a miss) and Lesic (8 points) comes to plus 11 (25:14) in the eighth minute. Followed by a weaker finish as Vrsac used to reduce minus to 4 points, 27:23 after the first quarter.

The second quarter opened Rebic with three pointer for plus 7. Mega held the advantage until the middle period when Vrsac manages to tie, and then to take the lead, 43:49. Jaramaz hits important three so half time ended with 46:49.

Jaramaz tied five points early in the second half and Mega returns lead. Guests enter into a series of hits for the three points and slowly came to plus 5. However, Rebic and Lesic not allowed them off the hook, however, in the last 10 minutes Mega entered with 68:71. 

After three of Novak and points Jaramaz, it seemed that the Mega resolved in it’s favor. Vrsac linked three hit for three points, and came to plus 8 (80:88) in less than four minutes to finish. Guests got plus 6 in the 39th minute and then came series of Mega. Lesic scored for three, Cancar quickly realized attack and at 88:91, Lesic catches offensive rebound and hit for two plus one. After he hit additional free throw, the result was 91:91. Djeric for guest misses the three, and then Jaramaz was fouled 6 seconds left, after which he hit both free throws. Mega succeed in defending the attack of Vrsac since the Jeftic missed the three from tough position for victory, so the final score was 93:91.
