MILOJEVIC: “IT’S NOT EASY TO BEAT CIBONA IN ZAGREB

Players of Mega Leks have played a great match in Zagreb, where in the 25th round of ABA league beat Cibona with 88:100. Mega managed to get revenge for the defeat to Cibona 71:82 in Sremska Mitrovica in the first part of the season so in the last round against team Karpos Sokoli will try with victory to finish the season in the top half of the standings.

Great game in win of Mega has provided Nikola Rebic with 17 points (4-6 to 3 points), 6 rebounds, 7 assists and 4 steals for index rating of 28. At a press conference after the match he said that the Mega controlled of the match:

– This was a very important victory for us, although we secured to avoid relegation. It’s certainly nicer to end up at the top than at the bottom. We could not stop their transition in the first part where we received 50 points, which is a lot. In the second half we played better defense and we controlled the match. We opened us some shots but in the end we deserved to win,

Rebic said.

Coach of Mega Leks D/ejan Milojevic said that the team plays better with one match per week:

– I am pleased with the victory because it is not easy to beat Cibona in Zagreb. It is obvious that my team fits one game a week better because after we finished Champions League, we corrected form. Of the four games on the side, we got three. I want the last game against Karpsos to play at the maximum level and to finish the league in a good way and fix the situation on the standings.
