MEGA SECOND AT TOURNAMENT IN VRSAC

Mega Leks took second place in the tournament for the 70th anniversary of BC Vrsac as they is lost in the finals against Crvena zvezda mts with of 80:74 (19:14, 19:24, 21:14, 21:22).

After a good start of the match, Mega in a mid-first quarter fell in play as Zvezda used to go up to a maximum of 12 points. However Mega with aseries of 13:1 in the last five minutes of the second quarter came to 38:38 at halftime with a three of Mushidi in the final seconds.

In the second half, Zvezda had a constant advantage and additional problems were fifth personal foul of Zagorac and Tejic. Mega in the finish tried to jeopardize the victory of Zvezda but was not accurate from the foul line.

Best in the ranks of Mega Leks were Zagorac with 11 points and 9 rebounds. Tejic scored 14 and and Spasojevic 13 points.

Mega in the final played with shortened rotation with nine players because for injuries coach Milojevic could not count on Jaramaz and Simeunovic.

The next weekend Mega Leks will play two matches at the tournament in Cacak against Igokea and Mornar.
