MILOJEVIc: “THESE ARE THE GAMES IN WHICH YOUNG PLAYERS ARE MATURING”

Mega for umpteenth time this season showed character when it was most difficult winning in Zeleznik to 79:90, which is a series for placement in the ABA league next season.

A nice game in the win had young center of Mega Ivica Zubac who was most effective with 21 points scored:

“We were against elimination for a place in the ABA league, we went into the match fully motivated and we gave our best. There were a couple of falls, but we stayed focused and managed to repel their attacks. We will try the best to get ready for the fifth game, now we are at zero”,

said Zubac.

Coach of Mega Leks Dejan Milojevic:

“Result is 2:2, we are practically at zero and fifth match is the one that will determine the winner. These are the games in which young players are maturing, ours and theirs. We were playing ABA league, we won the Cup and I think that this is some of our advantage, however to Zubac this is new, he practically had the experience of 60-minute of senior basketball before coming to Mega. Today he was great and we got the maximum at this point. I commend the FMP-a on game that plays great and never not surrender. We had some 15-point lead but they did not give up and managed even to lead, shot has them served in some moments of the game. However, we were cool and concentrated enough to bring lead back and deservedly celebrate”,

said Milojevic, who then turned to the next match:

“There is no euphoria, 2: 2. The chances are 50-50, although we have more quality, FMP may be in better shape than us and therefore we give equal chances”,
