ZAGORAC: “WE HAVE A GREAT MOTIVE FOR WIN”

Mega Leks will on Friday, 27th of from 19 hours start semifinal series of Super League of Serbia against Crvena Zvezda Telekom. The first match of semifinals will be played in Hall Aleksandar Nikolic in Belgrade while the second leg is scheduled for Sunday, 29th May from 20 hours in Sremska Mitrovica. Eventual third match will be played in Belgrade on Tuesday.

Coach of Mega Leks Dejan Milojevic said that the teams know well each other:

“We can expect a tough match against Zvezda. We know well each other, we played a couple of times this season, but we were unable to defeat them. For everything there is a first time so I believe that we have the strength and quality to get the victory in this match”,

said coach of Mega Leks.

Mega Leks and Crvena zvezda Telekom met five times this season in the ABA league in which Mega has failed to triumph. The last time they met in the final series of the ABA league which was held from 28th of April to 2nd of May.
Mega Leks finished in second place in Group B of Serbia Super league with 4 wins and 2 losses while Zvezda was the first in a Group A with all 6 wins.

Captain of Mega Leks Rade Zagorac pointed out that Mega has a great motivation for win:

“Ahead of us is the final phase, for us perhaps the most important competition. With two defeats we deserved to be in the second position in the group. In front of us we have Crvena Zvezda against which we are without a win this season. This will be a great motivation to stand up to them on Friday and with the win to make the first step to the finals”,

Zagorac said.

Match is scheduled for Friday, May 27th from 19 hours in the hall Aleksandar Nikolic in Belgrade. Live broadcast of the match is on TV Arena Sport.
