RAJKOVIC:”WE HAVE A GREAT DESIRE FOR WIN”

Mega’s Juniors on Wednesday travel to Berlin where they will from 12th to 15th of May take part in the final tournament of juniors Euroleague under the name “Mega Bemax”. Players of Miodrag Rajkovic are in group A with teams Zalgiris Kaunas, Barcelona Lassa and INSEP Paris.

Mega Bemax coach Miodrag Rajkovic highlights the exceptional strength of the final tournament Euroleague:

“Winning the qualifying tournament in Rome and placement at the final tournament in Berlin is a huge success and a huge step forward with this generation of juniors of Mega. I would like to emphasize that our group of especially strong because there are playing champions of Spain, Lithuania and the best team of France and is in this sense a kind of Final Four, of course without intending to underestimate the other group in which are competing the last two  junior Euroleague champions, Real Madrid and Crvena zvezda”,

Rajkovic said and continued on expectations in Berlin:

“My personal expectations are always highest possible and looking the nature and mode of training, i recognize in players the enormous desire to win. In every game we’re going for win, and we are only looking ourselves. Let’s go game by game and we’ll see how long will that get us”,

Group games will be played in a hall Sportforum in Berlin and the schedule of Mega Bemax is as follows:

May 12th, 11:00: Zalgiris Kaunas – Mega Bemax
May 13th, 09:00 Barcelona Lassa – Mega Bemax
May 14th, 09:00: Mega Bemax – INSEP Paris

Group winners will meet in the finals on May 15th from 12 hours in the Mercedes-Benz Arena, which will also host Euroleague Final Four.

We recall, Mega Bemax participation in the final tournament triumph was secured by winning the qualifying tournament in Rome, which was held at the end of December last year.
