ZAGORAC: “WE WANT TO EXTEND SERIES”

Rich basketball program awaits us in the third game of the ABA league between Mega Leks and Crvena Zvezda Telekom. Guests from Belgrade took a lead 2:0 in the series but players of Dejan Milojevic, despite numerous absences due to injuries, will not surrender.

After great in the first game finals and far weaker second game, Mega will in Sremska Mitrovica pursue opportunities for extension of the final series, which being played on three wins.

The audience in Sremska Mitrovica will have the opportunity to welcome cadets Mega Leks who have become champions of Serbia in the cadet category, which is the first trophy of youth selections in the history of the club. Also, they will be joined by the pioneers Mege, who in their first year of existence pioneer selection in the club, became vice-champions of Serbia.

Captain of Mega Leks Rade Zagorac said the team will do their best to triumph:

“We are in very bad situation after a 2:0 in the final series where it seems that we missed their chance in the first match while in the second we were completely outplayed, what I attributed a lot of shortened rotation due to injuries. We anticipate a third match where we will give all best to win and extend the series for at least another match”,

Dejan Milojevic said that would be extremely difficult to recover the team for a short time

“As I said last night, Zvezda is a lot better team than us and when we are in full force, especially when we have such a shortened rotation due to injuries. It is a short period for the recovery of players but we will try to do play distinctive aggressive defense as much as it is possible and if we get the chance to win, to use it as best we can. Entering the finals is a historic success for the club but we will do our best to finish with dignity final series”,

In Sremska Mitrovica we expect a rich basketball program. If weather conditions permit, at a Central city square between 12 and 15 hours will be held “RODA basketball day” with a mini basketball tournaments and gifts for visitors.

Before the match the visitors will have the opportunity to try the tastes of “Sensation” carbonated soft drinks. And on the match is awaiting them numerous awards. One of the reasons for the earlier arrival of the hall will be the Triglav prize draw which will take place 40 minutes before the start of the match.

The award will be presented by the owner of the company Leks Group Mr. Cvetan Lukanov and captain of the junior team Mege, Novak Music. In addition, the general sponsor of Mega Leks provided and 500 percussion fan in the stands that will complement a great basketball atmosphere that awaits us on Monday.

Ticket at a price of 500 dinars for the stands are left very little and will be on sale on Monday morning.
