BASKETBALL HOLIDAY ON SATURDAY AGAINST BUDUCNOST

After a brilliant triumph in Podgorica and the first defeat suffered by Budućnost at home this season in the ABA league, basketball players of Mega Leks have a match point for the finals. The second semi-final match of the series that is played on two wins, is due in Hall PSC ‘Pinki “in Sremska Mitrovica on Saturday March 19th from 21 hours and tickets for the match were sold out on the first day of sales on Thursday.

As a good introduction to the game, at a central square in Sremska Mitrovica, the company Roda will on Saturday from 11 am to 16 pm organize “Basketball Day”. At a makeshift basketball court for boys and girls up to 14 years of age will be organizing competitions in basketball 3 on 3, three point shootout, a trip around the world, and visitors will be distributed balloons and sweet packages.

The audience in hall PSC Pinki in Sremska Mitrovica will be equipped for this match since the company Roda in the stands will give 500 percussion instruments by which viewers will be able to support Mega to, hopefully, another historic triumph.

Mega in this match due to serious injury will not be able to count on Jaramaz, Kaba and Aranitovic but it is certain that, as in the Podgorica, Mega players will do their best to plant another big surprise and expele from playoffs leader of ABA league after league part.

Coach Dejan Milojevic points out that Buducnost, despite Mega’s victory in Podgorica, are still favorites:

“Buducnost is the favorite in this match and their defeat in Podgorica showed that the better team do not always win. We hope that we will be able to make another big surprise and win on Saturday to qualify for the finals, which would be a fantastic result for our young team”,

Milojevic said.

Semifinal series is played on a 2 victories. Mega celebrated in the first match in Podgorica with 81:85. Mega Leks and Buducnost VOLI have so far met seven times in the regional competition and the current score is 4-3 for the Buducnost.

Nikola Jankovic first commented on the match in Podgorica:

“We made a lot of surprise and came to win, which especially weights bearing in mind the problems with injuries for which have not played Jaramaz, Kaba and Aranitovic. We didn’t celebrate victory to much, because it is only the first step but we are concentrated on the next match”,

Jankovic said and continued:

“Buducnost is a very good and experienced team, and we expect a reaction from them in this match, even greater struggle and motivation. It is necessary to respond more strongly with the aggressive defense, to get focused and to enter with acool head in the game and I believe that with the right approach, we can get the victory that would be another confirmation of great results this season, and that mean a lot for our young team”,

Jankovic finished.

To match on Saturday will be organized a program with a prizes. Prior to the match and during the break between the first and second quarters to the audience will be shoot shirts from special sporting rifles, and a lucky viewers who catch them will receive a prize. Viewers who caught marked Roda shirts will have the opportunity in the first half to shoot for Roda prize packages.
