ZUBAC: “MEGA IS A GREAT SOLUTION FOR ME”

New signing of  Mega Leks Ivica Zubac on Tuesday night did the first practice with the team, but on Wednesday morning individually worked with fitness coach Marko Cosic. The talented center will be on Thursday at a brief return to Zagreb, and will reconnect to a team on a Monday.

After only a few days spent with new teammates, Zubac is full of impressions:

– The atmosphere in the team is excellent. It was felt at the first training session. In such an environment, it is great to work with. All the guys in the team accepted me very well, as we known each other long before. We are approximate years so from the start we began to build great chemistry. All the people at the club devoted maximum attention so I can feel more comfortable and I am very grateful to them for that – said Zubac and added:

– I have no doubt that the Mega at the moment is the best solution for me, when in a legal process is impossible to perform for Cedevita in the Euroleague. I came to the club that season after season grow and promote a large number of players. For every young player is a privilege to be part of Mega Leks. In Mega I have excellent conditions for work, and that is exactly what I need. Also, everyone knows that coach Dejan Milojevic works great with the centers, and the best example of this is certainly Nikola Jokic who last year directly from Mega Leks went to the NBA – notes Zubac.

I’m sure I’m going in Mega to good train, but this is the first and fundamental condition to progress. I will do everything in games, in my work and responsibilities, to help Mega to win and achieve better results – said Zubac.
