MILOJEVIC: “ANOTHER STEP TOWARD PLAYOFFS IS MADE”

Players from Mega Leks took giant steps to their first placement in the playoffs of the ABA league in club history. Mega brilliantly played in the second half and completely outplayed Tajfun and deservedly recorded 13th triumph in the regional competition this season. Another plus for the young team of Dejan Milojevic is certainly return to the field of captain Rade Zagorac, who idue to hand injury, didn’t play since October 1st:

“I would like to express my great pleasure at being back on the field after a long absence due to injury”,

Zagorac started his story at a press conference after the match and then continued:

“We have fulfilled all the tasks that the coach demanded of us, we have achieved a convincing victory although in the first half was not looking so. I think that we played a really great match. Next game is against Sutjeska in Niksic, we well be prepared and we hope to gain new victory”,

noted the captain of Mega.

Dejan Milojevic was very pleased after another triumph of his team:

“I knew that Tajfun is a team that does not give up easily. We have on several occasions gained the lead by 10 points or 12 points, but they were coming back. However, in the third quarter we decided the winner, we played good defense, and it has brought us a lot of easy points. I gave a chance to players who play less to complete the game and they did a good job. Another step toward the playoffs is made. We are moving on, we need some more wins to secure a place among the four best teams. We have four wins more than its nearest competitor and we should play too bad in the final rounds not to qualify for the playoffs”,

concluded Milojevic.
