A WONDERFUL REVERSAL OF MEGA

Players from Mega Leks have made remarkable reversal because after minus 18 in the third quarter, they celebrated against Partizan with 78:85 (21:18, 21:11, 18:28, 18:28). In this way, coach Dejan Milojevic come up with a first win in the history against Partizan at Pionir.

This was 10th win for Mega in 15 matches, which made a huge step towards placing the play-offs of the regional competition. The best in the ranks of Mega were Nikolic with 19 points and Aranitovic with 15, while Ivanovic had 12 points and 9 assists. An extremely important contribution to the win had Milenko Veljkovic with 7 points and 6 rebounds in 9 minutes.

Milojevic started the match with Ivanovic, Aranitović, Luwawu-Cabarrot, Nikolic and Kaba. First points for Mega were three from Nikolic. After 3 and a half minutes of play Mega Leks led with 4:9 after a dunk of Luwawu and Kaba, after which young French center blocked Jones. The second half began with missed shots on both sides and that series broke Jamaraz with nice lay-up and point from free-throw line. Partizan score three but Luwawu returned it in the next attack. Poor play in defense continued in the second half, And Partizan had 55:37 after 26 minutes. Veljkovic was succesfull under the basket for plus one and then in next attack hit both free-throws. Ivanovic with triple managed to reduce to 60:51. Series Mege continued after the points from Aranitovic and Ivanovic for a total run of 11 points scored without conceding to 60:57.

Great game continued in the fourth quarter and plus one from Aranitovic and triple from Nikolic, Mega led with 63:68. Partizan managed to bind baskets but Veljkovic responded with points in the paint after offensive rebounds. Partizan leveled the score with three but Jaramaz hit triple for 70:73 and then another plus one for 72:76 in the 38th minute. Petar Aranitovic affects hit long range FG but younger brother Aleksandar hit triple for 74:79. The winner was solved after Nikolic points for 74:81.
