JUNIORS OF MEGA SUPER FALL SHORT IN FINAL MOMENTS, MISS OUT ON SEMIFINALS AT FINAL TOURNAMENT
Mega Super Juniors were unable to secure a spot in the semifinals of the Idea Junior League of Serbia Final F8 tournament, as they were defeated by BKK Radnički 86:88 (24:23, 23:22, 21:24, 18:19) in the quarterfinals. The game was a fierce battle from start to finish, with Milan Vidosavljević’s team holding a slim one-point advantage, 83:82, entering the final two minutes. However, a quick turnaround by their opponents saw BKK Radnički extend their lead to four points. Mega responded with a three-pointer, bringing the score to within one point, but it was too late, and BKK Radnički secured the win.
Ognjen Nikolić was the standout performer for Mega Super, finishing with 19 points and 13 rebounds (index 23), followed by Pavle Bačko with 18 points and seven rebounds (index 21). Nikola Karalić and Vuk Danilović each added 15 points.
With this loss, the Mega Super Juniors’ domestic season has come to an end, preventing them from defending the title they won last year. They will now focus on the upcoming Junior EuroLeague Final Tournament in Abu Dhabi, having already claimed the title in the Junior ABA League.
