MEGA SUPER U15 TEAM TAKES FIRST STEP TOWARD DEFENDING MINI CUP TITLE
The U15 team of Mega Super started their defense of the Moja Kravica Mini Cup Radivoj Korać in excellent fashion, defeating their peers from KK Niš 105-88 (24:22, 31:20, 28:18, 22:28) in the quarterfinals of the tournament in Niš. Under the guidance of coach Uroš Matić, they played a fantastic second and third quarter, which proved to be enough for the win and a spot in the semifinals, where they will face Partizan.
The top scorer for Mega Super was Filip Mrđen with 31 points (4 rebounds, 4 assists), while Marko Avdalović nearly posted a triple-double with 17 points, 10 assists, and 9 rebounds. Aleksandar Savić was excellent with 17 points, 6 rebounds, and 6 assists, while Andrija Terzić contributed 18 points and 6 rebounds.
The U15 team will face Partizan in the semifinals on Friday, February 14, at 1:00 PM. The placement games and final are scheduled for Saturday, February 15.
As a reminder, Mega Super won the Mini Cup in the previous two years, as well as in 2017 and 2018.
