MEGA SUPERBET COUNTED TO 113 AND CONVINCINGLY DEFEATED MORNAR IN BAR

Mega Superbet basketball players returned to the winning track in great style, as they defeated Mornar in Bar 113:83 (26:16, 33:19, 29:20, 25:28) in the 19th round of the ABA League. Marko Barać’s team had a strong start to the game and kept increasing their lead minute by minute, entering the final 10 minutes with a massive 33-point advantage, making everything clear in Topolica even before the last quarter. With this victory, Mega Superbet improved to a 9-10 record, while Mornar suffered its 18th loss (1-18).

The top scorer for Mega Superbet was Filip Jović with 21 points, but the most valuable player was Mihailo Petrović, who recorded a double-double with 15 points and 11 assists (index rating of 33). Andrija Jelavić also registered a double-double with 12 points and 11 rebounds, while Kosta Kondić and Bogoljub Marković contributed 14 points each. Aleksa Radanov and Dušan Tanasković also reached double digits, scoring 10 points each.

For Mornar, the leading scorer was Chico Carter with 14 points, followed by Roko Rogić and Noah Thomasson with 13 each, while Lovre Runjić and Donald Pember both scored 10.

Marković had a fantastic start to the game, scoring eight consecutive points. Jelavić and Kondić followed up, and Mega went on a 15-0 run in the opening four minutes. The opponent managed to settle down as the quarter progressed, but Barać’s team still held a double-digit lead at the first break (26:16). At the start of the second quarter, Mega launched a 7-0 run, signaling an even greater separation. After Radanov’s points entering the final three minutes of the first half, the lead grew to 20. The same player hit a three-pointer to cap off the second quarter, giving Mega Superbet a 59:35 advantage at halftime.

Mega did not stop there. They continued to increase their lead after the break, reaching a 30-point margin (77:47) following Petrović’s free throws. Entering the last 10 minutes with an 88:55 lead, the outcome was beyond doubt. Barać’s squad wanted to seal the win in style, and after Tanasković’s dunk with five minutes remaining, they surpassed the 100-point mark, ultimately securing a dominant victory.

In the next, 20th round of the ABA League, Mega Superbet will host Split, with the match scheduled for Sunday, February 9, at 12:00.
