Mega Superbet basketball players returned to the winning track in great style, as they defeated Mornar in Bar 113:83 (26:16, 33:19, 29:20, 25:28) in the 19th round of the ABA League. Marko Barać’s team had a strong start to the game and kept increasing their lead minute by minute, entering the final 10 minutes with a massive 33-point advantage, making everything clear in Topolica even before the last quarter. With this victory, Mega Superbet improved to a 9-10 record, while Mornar suffered its 18th loss (1-18).

Mega Superbet head coach Marko Barać shared his thoughts at the post-game press conference:

“An outstanding game for us. The players took the preparation very seriously. We knew that Mornar would be highly motivated, aware of their individual quality and the recognizable offensive style they have nurtured for years. We prepared well, imposed defensive intensity and game rhythm from the start, which not only protected our basket but also allowed us to create good opportunities on offense. That game discipline was evident through good ball movement, finding open looks, and ultimately, our shooting percentages reflected that. A high number of assists, fast-break points… When a game unfolds this way from the start, the stats confirm it. As always, I have great respect for Mornar and the way they operate. I wish my colleague Pavićević and the entire club the best of luck moving forward. As for my team, I hope this style of play is something we continue to follow, something that should serve as motivation to keep working in the best possible way and prepare for the upcoming challenges,” said Barać.

In the next, 20th round of the ABA League, Mega Superbet will host Split, with the match scheduled for Sunday, February 9, at 12:00.
