MEGA SUPERBET VISITS MORNAR, BARAĆ: “WE MUST BE READY FOR THE HARDEST POSSIBLE DEFENSIVE WORK”

In the upcoming 19th round of the ABA League, Mega Superbet’s basketball team will visit Mornar at the Topolica Hall. The game is scheduled for Saturday, February 1, at 18:00, with live coverage on Arena Sport TV.

Mega Superbet’s coach, Marko Barać, shared his expectations ahead of the game in Bar:

“We are facing an away game against Mornar, a team that has made significant changes compared to our previous encounter. They have an experienced coach, a recognizable offensive style, and a lot of individual quality. We must be ready for the hardest possible defensive work. With this prerequisite, a lot of energy, and concentration, I believe we will have a chance to win,” said Barać.

Mega Superbet’s starting player, Ilija Milijašević, is hoping for a win on the road:

“We are facing a tough away game against Mornar. Their current record doesn’t reflect their quality, and we will need to give our best in order to secure the win. We are on a losing streak that we want to break, and we will certainly give everything we have to do that,” added Milijašević.

After 18 rounds, Mega Superbet has a record of 8-10, while Mornar is at the bottom of the table with a 1-17 record. Marko Barać’s team convincingly won at home in the first part of the season (84:59), improving their head-to-head record to 11-5.
