MEGA SUPERBET HOSTS KRKA, BARAĆ: “A TRICKY OPPONENT, BUT WE WANT TO DEFEND OUR HOME COURT”

Mega Superbet’s basketball team will host Krka in the 16th round of the ABA League at TC Dejan Milojević. The match is scheduled for Sunday, January 12th, at 12:00, and admission is free.

Mega Superbet’s coach, Marko Barać, shared his expectations ahead of the game against the team from Novo Mesto:

“We’re expecting a tough game against a team with experience and know-how. In the last few games, Krka has shown that they are a tricky opponent, even for the strongest teams in our league. We want to defend our home court, and to do that, we’ll need to repeat one of our best performances of the season,” said Barać.

Mega Superbet’s first-team player, Sergej Macura, believes in the team’s first win of 2025:

“This is our first game of the second part of the ABA League season against Krka. I’m confident that we’ve prepared well and are ready to defend our home court. We’ve trained well, and we believe in our first victory of 2025,” added Macura.

Mega Superbet will enter the second round of the season in the ABA League with a record of 8-7, while Krka is at 3-12. The two teams have faced each other 19 times in the regional competition, with Mega winning 12 of those matchups, including a 7-2 record at home.
