MEGA MIS VISITS PODGORICA, BARAĆ: “SC DERBY IS A TEAM WITH EXCEPTIONAL PHYSICAL CHARACTERISTICS, A GREAT CHALLENGE AWAITS US”

In their final game of 2024, Mega MIS basketball players will face SC Derby in Podgorica in the 14th round of the ABA League. The match is scheduled for Saturday, December 28th, at 5:00 PM in the Morača Sports Center, with live coverage on TV Arena Sport.

Mega MIS head coach Marko Barać shared his expectations ahead of another tough away game:

“SC Derby is a team with exceptional physical characteristics. They have many talented players, as well as very experienced and high-quality key contributors. A great challenge lies ahead of us, and we will need our best away performance of the season to put ourselves in a position to win,” said Barać.

Mega MIS player Filip Jović is aware of the difficulty of the upcoming task:

“We expect a tough away game against a very good team whose current position in the standings doesn’t reflect their true quality. We’ll need a lot of energy and focus to give ourselves a chance to win,” added Jović.

Mega MIS heads into the game in Podgorica with a positive record of 7-6, while SC Derby stands at 4-9. These two teams have faced each other six times in the ABA League so far, with Mega winning four of those encounters.
