MEGA MIS JUNIORS OPEN EUROLEAGUE QUALIFYING TOURNAMENT WITH A DOMINANT WIN
The juniors of Mega MIS convincingly defeated Greek Panathinaikos 93:57 (24:14, 24:10, 30:13, 15:20) in the opening game of the Euroleague Qualifying Tournament. Despite the early morning start, coach Milan Vidosavljević’s team secured a dominant victory. From the very beginning of the game, Mega MIS juniors held the lead. The first double-digit advantage was achieved four minutes before the end of the first quarter, and by halftime, the Belgrade team was up by 24 points.
Ognjen Srzentić shone in the opening match in Istanbul. He scored 19 points in the first half and finished the game with 29 points, nine rebounds, and five assists, earning an efficiency rating of 37. Mega MIS had three more players in double figures—Pavle Bačko contributed 12 points, while Vukašin Mušikić and Petar Ostojić added 10 points each, both grabbing eight rebounds.
Milan Vidosavljević’s team will play their next game today against Venice, scheduled for 4 PM. The juniors of Mega MIS will conclude the group stage tomorrow against Bahçeşehir at 1:45 PM. Group winners will advance to the tournament final, competing for a spot in the Euroleague Final Four.
