MEGA MIS JUNIORS DEFEAT KRKA WITH A RECORD 129 POINTS
Mega MIS juniors played another excellent game at the KK FMP Arena, defeating Krka 129:75 (32:16, 32:22, 31:15, 34:22) in the second round of the first phase of the U19 ABA League. Led by coach Milan Vidosavljević, the team set the pace from the start, scoring twice as many points as their opponents in the first quarter and consistently increasing their lead throughout the game. By halftime, Mega MIS had a 26-point advantage on the scoreboard, and they did not stop there, securing a dominant win and improving their record in Group A to 2-0, while the Slovenian team suffered their second loss.
The 129 points scored by Mega MIS is a new record for the U19 ABA League!
All 12 players from Mega MIS who were listed in the game protocol scored at least one point, with Ognjen Srzentić leading the way with 24 points. However, the most valuable player was Urban Kroflič, who recorded a double-double with 17 points and 12 rebounds, finishing with a performance index rating of 26. Aleksandar Vojinović added 16 points and six assists, while Pavle Bačko scored 15 points without a miss (6/6 from two-point range and 3/3 from the free-throw line). Ognjen Nikolić came close to a double-double with 12 points and nine rebounds, Abdramane Sibi also scored 12 points, and Nikola Karalić added 11 points.
Mega MIS juniors will play their third and final game in the first phase on Sunday at 15:00 against Borac Mozzart. A win would secure their place in the semifinals of the U19 ABA League final tournament.
