MEGA MIS HOSTS IGOKEA, BARAĆ: “WE NEED TO PLAY WITH FOCUS AND RESPOND TO THEIR TOUGHNESS”
In the 6th round of the ABA League, Mega MIS will host Igokea at the Ranko Žeravica Sports Hall. The game is scheduled for Sunday, October 27, at 12:00 p.m., and admission is free. Free tickets can be picked up at the Sports Hall ticket office on game day, from 11:00 a.m. until the start of the match.
Mega MIS head coach Marko Barać shared his expectations:
“After the game against Split, we face another tough opponent. We’ve used the time well, conducted scouting, and worked on our game. Igokea has once again put together an excellent team for competing in two tournaments. We need to play with a lot of focus and respond to their toughness,” said Barać.
Mega MIS player Timotej Malovec is aware of the challenge his team faces.
“I’m expecting a tough game. Igokea is a good team; they defeated Cedevita Olimpija in the last round. Like us, they want to keep up the good results. We trained very well this week, and I really hope we’ll play a good game,” added Malovec.
Mega MIS currently has a 4-1 record, while Igokea stands at 3-2. This will be the 23rd matchup between these two teams in the ABA League, with Mega holding the edge so far with 14 wins.
