MEGA MIS HOSTS FMP, BARAĆ: “A VERY EXPERIENCED AND WELL-SELECTED TEAM, LET’S REPEAT THE GOOD PERFORMANCE FROM THE FIRST ROUND”

After their triumph in the season opener of the ABA League against Krka, the basketball players of Mega MIS will play their first home game in the second round of the regional competition, hosting the FMP team at the Ranko Žeravica Sports Hall. Entrance to the game is free, and free tickets can be picked up at the sports hall box office from 11:00 until the start of the match.

Mega MIS coach Marko Barać shared his expectations ahead of the clash with the Železnik team:

“FMP is a very experienced and well-selected team. They deservedly recorded a convincing victory in their season opener. Despite some roster issues, I hope we can repeat the good performance from the first round. I am confident that those who step onto the court will give their all in the desire to achieve victory,” said Barać.

Mega MIS player Mihailo Petrović is aware that a tough challenge awaits his team, but he emphasizes the good atmosphere in the squad as an asset.

“This is our first game at home this season, and we expect a very tough match both physically and mentally against FMP. They play with a lot of contact and will surely try to impose that rhythm throughout the game. As for us, we have been preparing all week for this match, and I hope for the best outcome. What is important is that the atmosphere in the team is good, and we want to secure another triumph at the start of the new season,” added Petrović.

Mega MIS will face FMP for the 17th time in the ABA League, and they have been more successful so far with nine victories, six of which were achieved at home, suffering only two losses on their home court.
