MEGA MIS TO PLAY AGAINST G LEAGUE ALL-STAR TEAM AFTER MIDNIGHT, WITH BROADCAST ON NBA TV

Mega MIS basketball team will play its first exhibition game on the American tour against the NBA G League All-Star team next night at 4:00 AM Serbian time. The match will take place at the Kaiser Permanente Arena in Santa Cruz and will be broadcast on NBA TV. This will be a new challenge for a team that will once again be the youngest in the region this season.

This is the first time that Mega will play on U.S. soil, and it’s against professionals who have NBA experience or are striving to secure a spot in the strongest league. In previous years, we’ve played against prestigious college teams, but this will undoubtedly be our biggest challenge so far,” said Mega MIS head coach Marko Barać.

Seven players from the G League All-Star team have NBA experience, led by 2022 NBA champion with the Golden State Warriors, Juan Toscano-Anderson. The team’s head coach is Paul Hewitt, head coach of the San Diego Clippers.

I expect a good game, and I want our young players to show courage and good energy. Our main goal is for them to progress throughout the season and become completely different players by next summer. This experience will help us understand what we need to work on to develop in the direction of modern basketball,” Barać added.

The Mega MIS team will play another game against the same team on the night between Friday and Saturday at 4:00 AM Serbian time. So far in their preparations, Marko Barać’s squad has won all five games, defeating Chinese team Guangzhou, OKK Beograd, Spartak, Vršac, and Turkish team Bahçeşehir.
