BASKETBALL TEAM MEGA MIS EMBARKS ON AMERICAN TOUR

The basketball team Mega MIS has traveled to the United States, where they will play two training games against the NBA G League All-Star team as part of their preparations for the new season.

The first game will take place on the night between Wednesday and Thursday at 4:00 AM our time. The second match is scheduled for the same time slot on the night between Friday and Saturday. Both games will be played at the Kaiser Permanente Arena in Santa Cruz, the home of the Golden State Warriors’ G League affiliate – the Santa Cruz Warriors. Tickets are on sale, and the upcoming matches are being advertised on all platforms in the United States. Both games will also be broadcast on NBA TV.

In recent years, Mega has played several exhibition games against American colleges such as Kentucky, Michigan, Texas Tech, Indiana, Virginia, and USC. Mega has once again been recognized as a team that works exceptionally well with young players, and this time they will play on American soil for the first time, facing the NBA G League All-Star team.

As has become a tradition, our team has embarked on a summer tour. Unlike the renowned colleges we’ve played against in previous years, this time our opponent will be a significantly more experienced team, the NBA G League All-Star team. We will use this year’s tour to promote our young players and to prepare as best as possible for the upcoming ABA League season,” said the team’s general manager Goran Ćakić.

The team’s coach Marko Barać has taken 14 players on the trip: Kosta Kondić, Filip Jović, Jack Kyle, Urban Kroflič, Mihailo Petrović, Sergej Macura, Andrija Jelavić, Timotej Malovec, Bogoljub Marković, Dušan Tanasković, Mihailo Milutinović, Marko Vukčević, Aleksa Milenković, and Ilija Milijašević.

The G League All-Star team will be led by 2022 NBA champion with the Golden State Warriors, Juan Toscano-Anderson, while the bench will be helmed by San Diego Clippers coach and former Georgia Tech University coach Paul Hewitt.
