THREE MEGA MIS PLAYERS ON THE PODIUM AT THE U18 EUROPEAN CHAMPIONSHIP: JACK KAYIL CHAMPION, OGNJEN SRZENTIĆ AND SERBIA SILVER, URBAN KROFLIČ IN THE ALL-TOURNAMENT FIVE

The U18 European Championship in Finland has concluded, and unfortunately, the Serbian national team did not manage to defend the title they won last year in Niš. They were defeated by Germany in the final, 83-93, but three Mega MIS players found themselves on the podium.

Jack Kayil became the European champion with the German national team in his age group; Ognjen Srzentić, representing Serbia, finished with silver in hand, while Urban Kroflič was the best individual player for the Slovenian team, which won bronze.

Kroflič was named to the All-Tournament Five for his outstanding performances. He averaged 16.4 points, 8.6 rebounds, and 5.4 assists per game and had a PIR of 21.7.

Kayil was one of the best in the champion team, averaging 15.3 points, 3.8 assists, 3.2 rebounds, and a PIR of 14.3.

Srzentić, wearing the Serbian jersey, averaged 5.2 points, 2.2 assists, and two rebounds and had an efficiency index of 7.8.
