MARKO BARAĆ PARTICIPATES IN NBA SUMMER LEAGUE AGAIN THIS YEAR, THIS TIME AS PART OF HOUSTON’S COACHING STAFF

Mega MIS coach Marko Barać will once again participate in the NBA Summer League, as he will be part of the coaching staff for the Houston Rockets. Barać spent the first part of his stay in the USA at a training camp in Houston, and today the team traveled to Las Vegas where they will compete in the Summer League from July 12 to 22.

Barać also participated in last year’s Summer League, as he was part of the coaching staff for the then-NBA champions, the Denver Nuggets.

Marko Barać will continue to lead Mega MIS from the bench next season. In the past two seasons, he secured playoff berths in the ABA League, and in the 2023/24 season, he took the team a step further by reaching the semifinals of the regional competition after finishing fourth in the regular season.

At the recently held NBA draft, two players coached by Barać were selected: Nikola Đurišić at the 43rd position and Nikola Topić at the 12th position, who spent the first part of last season with Mega.

The invitation to be part of an NBA team at the Summer League again is yet another confirmation of Marko Barać’s excellent work at Mega.
