MEGA MIS WELCOMES CRVENA ZVEZDA IN THE SECOND SEMIFINAL GAME OF THE ABA LEAGUE, BARAĆ: “TO PROVE THAT WE DESERVE TO BE AMONG THE TOP FOUR TEAMS IN THE REGION AND FIGHT UNTIL THE END”

The basketball players of Mega MIS will host Crvena Zvezda at the Ranko Žeravica Sports Hall in the second game of the ABA League semifinal series. The match is scheduled for Tuesday, May 7, at 8:00 PM, and tickets for the upper-level stands, priced at 2,000 dinars, are on sale at all Tickets.rs branches and online through the same website. Tickets will also be available for purchase on the day of the match from 6:00 PM at the sports hall’s ticket office.

Mega MIS coach Marko Barać, in addition to previously injured captains Uroš Plavšić and Lovro Gnjidić, will also be without Stefan Miljenović for the upcoming match, who suffered a serious knee injury in the first semifinal game and awaits a longer recovery:

“Through good performances this year, we have reached the point of being among the top four teams in the region. Despite all the absences, we want to justify that fact and enjoy fighting until the end. We know what we need to adjust compared to the first game to remain competitive. I hope the New Belgrade audience will enjoy good playoff basketball,” said Barać.

Mega MIS player Filip Jović emphasizes that the team will give them all to compensate for the absence of important players:

“We are facing a match against an extremely high-quality team like Crvena Zvezda. Our job will certainly be further complicated due to the injuries of Plavšić and Miljenović, but no matter what lineup we go out with, it is up to us to give our all and seize every opportunity that comes our way,” added Jović.

After the defeat in the opening of the semifinals, the Mega MIS basketball players can secure a decider with a victory, which would be played on May 10 at the Aleksandar Nikolić Hall, with Crvena Zvezda as the host.
