U15 BANJICA MEGA SCORE DOUBLE THE POINTS OF THEIR RIVALS AND SECURE A SPOT IN THE SERBIAN CHAMPIONSHIP FINAL TOURNAMENT

The Banjica Mega U15 team achieved another convincing victory at the Semifinal Tournament of the Serbian Championship, as they convincingly defeated their counterparts from Tamiš 106:53 at the TC Dejan Milojević (18:22, 27:7, 31:13, 30:11). Dejan Pejić’s chosen ones were trailing after the first 10 minutes, but in the second quarter, they raised their level of play and quickly took control. They allowed their opponents to score only seven points, leading by 16 points at halftime, and then extended their lead to an unreachable 34 points in the third quarter. With a 2-0 record, they maintained the top position in Group A and secured a spot in the Final Tournament.

Maksimilijan-Konstantin Papan stood out with 22 points and 15 rebounds for a PIR of 37, while David Iordanchescu also contributed 22 points and six rebounds (PIR 30). Lun Jarc recorded 18 points and five assists (PIR 23), while Vuk Stepanović also reached double figures with 14 points.

In the final round of the Semifinal Tournament, the Banjica Mega juniors will compete against Konstantin, who suffered defeats in the first two rounds against Tamiš and Sloboda.
