MEGA MIS WELCOMES SPLIT AT TC DEJAN MILOJEVIĆ, BARAĆ: “TO CONTINUE PLAYING IN THE RIGHT WAY AND BE MORE MOTIVATED”
Mega MIS basketball players, after five consecutive wins in the penultimate 25th round of the ABA League, welcome Split. The match is scheduled for Sunday, March 31, at 6:00 PM, and will be played at the Dejan Milojević Training Center in the Braće Jerković neighborhood due to the occupation of the Ranko Žeravica Sports Hall. Due to the limited capacity of the hall, there will be a small number of available free tickets at the entrance from 5:00 PM until the start of the match.
Mega MIS coach Marko Barać hopes that his players can continue with good performances and results:
“We expect a match against a very quality team of Split, which is fighting for a place in the playoffs. With the victory against Crvena Zvezda, we secured the playoffs, and now we must continue playing in the right way and to be more motivated against every opponent. I expect a great atmosphere at the Dejan Milojević Training Center and hope for a positive outcome,” said Barać.
Mega MIS first team player Ilija Milijašević emphasizes that the team will give it all to extend the winning streak:
“We are facing a very quality team that will undoubtedly be fully prepared and motivated against us. In the first match, they convincingly defeated us, which gave us additional motivation for tomorrow’s match. The victory against Zvezda is just a boost to continue with good results and performances. Without a doubt, a tough match awaits us, but we will be ready and give our maximum to achieve victory,” added Milijašević.
Mega MIS enters the match as the sixth-placed team on the table with a record of 14-10, while Split is ninth with 11-13. These two teams have met seven times in the ABA League, and in each of the encounters, the host team has emerged victorious, with the Croatian team leading 4:3 in wins.
