MEGA MIS WELCOMES SC DERBY, BARAĆ: “REBOUND CONTROL IMPERATIVE, WE NEED TO SHOW CHARACTER”
After three consecutive victories, the Mega MIS basketball team hosts SC Derby in the 23rd round of the ABA League. The match is scheduled for Sunday, March 17th, at 12:00 PM in the Ranko Žeravica Sports Hall, and admission is free. Tickets can be collected at the Sports Hall ticket office from 11:00 AM until the start of the game.
Mega MIS coach Marko Barać emphasized that his team faces a tough task against the winners of the ABA Super Cup, who recently claimed the trophy in Montenegro:
“We expect an extremely difficult match against the SC Derby team, which is in good form. They recently won the Montenegrin Cup, which speaks volumes about their quality. Rebound control is something that emerges as imperative for us to have a chance to win this game. I expect us to show character and play well despite the health issues affecting our preparations for the match,” said Barać.
Mega MIS player Andrija Jelavić knows what is necessary for the team to compete against SC Derby:
“The match against SC Derby will be one of the toughest this season. Of course, our ambitions are high, so for a successful result, we will need maximum concentration and toughness from start to finish,” added Jelavić.
Mega MIS enters the 23rd round in sixth place on the table with a record of 12-10. They have faced the Podgorica team five times in the ABA League, winning three times, with a 2-0 record at home.
