MEGA MIS TO HOST CIBONA, BARAĆ: “A SERIOUS OPPONENT THAT DEMANDS THE TOUGHEST DEFENSIVE WORK”

After consecutive victories against Mornar and Krka, the Mega MIS basketball team will host Cibona in the 22nd round of the ABA League at the Ranko Žeravica Sports Hall. The match is scheduled for Monday, March 11, at 21:00, and admission is free. Tickets can be picked up at the Ranko Žeravica Sports Hall ticket office from 20:00 until the start of the game.

Mega MIS coach Marko Barać shared his expectations for the encounter with the Croatian team in the first of the last five rounds of the regular season on the Adriatic:

“This is an extremely important game for us. Cibona, who has been a serious opponent for everyone since the beginning of the season, is coming to us. They pose a threat with excellent three-point shooting from all five positions and demand the toughest defensive work. I expect us to continue playing good basketball, and I hope that will put us in a position to win,” said Barać.

Mega MIS player Stefan Miljenović believes in continuing the winning streak:

“A tough game awaits us against the experienced Cibona team, which played very well in the last round. We must be very focused from the start and try to impose our rhythm on the game. If we stick to the plan from the locker room, I believe we will continue the winning streak,” added Miljenović.

Mega MIS enters the 22nd round with a positive record of 11-10, while Cibona has three fewer victories (8-13). These two teams will meet for the 22nd time in the ABA League, with Mega having been more successful with 13 wins (13-8), seven of which were secured at home (7-3).
