MEGA BASKET JUNIORS DEFEATED AT THE START OF THE ANGT QUALIFYING TOURNAMENT

Mega MIS juniors suffered a defeat in the opening game of the ANGT qualifying tournament, losing to Partizan 91-59 (25-16, 18-18, 25-13, 23-12) at the Aleksandar Nikolić Hall. Under the guidance of coach Dragoljub Avramović, the Mega team managed to regain momentum in the second quarter after a slow start but faltered again after the break, allowing their opponent to pull away and ultimately secure a well-deserved victory.

Ognjen Srzentić led Mega’s scoring with 12 points, while Ognjen Nikolić narrowly missed a double-double with 11 points and nine rebounds. Aleksandar Vojinović also contributed 11 points, while Abdramane Siby scored nine.

With this result, Mega MIS concluded their participation on the first day of the tournament. On the second day, Saturday, March 2, they will first face Hapoel from Tel Aviv at 09:00, followed by a matchup against Barcelona to conclude the group stage at 19:00 in the Pionir Arena.
