After a highly efficient but evenly matched first half, Marko Barać’s team began to build a lead in the third quarter, gaining complete control in the decisive period. Midway through, after a series by Uroš Plavšić, they established a double-digit lead, which they held onto, successfully closing the game and returning to the winning track. Mega MIS now welcomes the Radivoj Korać Cup with a record of 10-10 in the regional competition, while Mornar suffered its 16th loss (4-16).

Stefan Miljenović was outstanding in the winning lineup with a double-double of 16 points and 10 rebounds, falling just three assists short of a triple-double (PIR 31). Uroš Plavšić also recorded a double-double with 18 points and 10 rebounds (PIR 20), and Nikola Đurišić ended the match with 12 points and assists (PIR 20). After an initial deadlock, Mornar briefly managed to pull away, taking a 4-10 lead at the three-minute mark. However, Mega quickly responded, leveling the score, and by the end of the quarter, they even managed to overturn the result, finishing with a one-point advantage (26:27). A similar scenario unfolded in the following quarters. The visitors initially took the lead, Barać’s players turned the game around, and it was a back-and-forth battle in the final moments of the first half, with the home team going into halftime with a slim lead of 50:48.

As expected, the defense tightened on both sides after the break, making it harder to score points. Mega pulled ahead in the middle of the third quarter with an 8:1 run, reaching a 61:54 lead and then resisting the opponent’s comeback attempts. After 30 minutes of play in the Ranko Žeravica Sports Hall, Mega led 72:65. Mornar stayed competitive until the middle of the decisive quarter when Plavšić’s dunk and three-pointer widened Mega’s lead to plus 11, paving the way for victory. Barać’s team comfortably maintained the double-digit lead, even extending it, ultimately deservedly triumphing in the 20th round of the regional competition.
