BARAC: “WE EXECUTED THE JOB IN THE BEST POSSIBLE
Mega MIS basketball players continued their excellent performances, defeating FMP SoccerBet in the 16th round of the ABA League with a fourth consecutive victory of 86-72 (23:18, 23:14, 22:18, 18:22). The chosen ones of Marko Barać began to take control towards the end of the first quarter, already securing a comfortable lead by halftime. They maintained and controlled the advantage without major issues in the third quarter. Mega then extended their lead to 20 points, retained a double-digit margin in the crucial 10 minutes, and ultimately claimed a well-deserved triumph. This improved their record to 9-7, while FMP remained at five wins (5-11).
Coach Marko Barać shared his impressions after the game:
“Good win for us. Congratulations to the players. For the most part, I am really satisfied, except for the opening when we fell into some defensive improvisations, which no coach generally likes. After that, we played the way we have been playing lately, controlling the result until the end. I would be happier if there hadn’t been relaxation at the end. All in all, I think we executed the job in the best possible way. I wish the guests good luck in the future; we have to continue with hard work and preparation for the upcoming matches, which will be extremely challenging for us,” said Barać.
In the next round of the ABA League, Mega MIS will face the defending champions, Partizan Mozzart Beta. The match is scheduled for Monday, January 22, at 19:00 in Belgrade’s Štark Arena.
