MEGA MIS OPENS 2024 WITH AN AWAY GAME IN ČAČAK, BARAĆ: “BORAC WELL-SELECTED, WE WILL NEED ENERGY AND FOCUS”

Mega MIS basketball team concluded the year 2023 with a significant victory against Cedevita Olimpija, and they entered 2024 with an away game in Čačak. In the 15th round of the ABA League, Borac Mozzart will host Marko Barać’s team, with the match scheduled for Monday, January 8, at 6:00 PM, and it will be broadcast live on TV Arena Sport.

Mega MIS coach Marko Barać shared his expectations ahead of the first match in the new calendar year:

“We are facing an away game against a quality and well-coached team. Borac is a team that has been excellently selected according to the league’s requirements. We have trained well this week, and I hope we will continue with good performances. It will take a lot of energy and focus for us to position ourselves to win on a difficult court,” Barać said.

Filip Jović emphasized that the entire team is eagerly awaiting to step onto the court:

“It’s a very important game for us. We have a tough away game against a very good Borac team. The chemistry within the team is excellent. We can’t wait for the game to start, and we will give our all to secure a victory,” added Jović.

Mega MIS and Borac have an identical 7-7 record after 14 rounds, and this will be their eighth encounter in the ABA League. Mega has been more successful so far with four victories in their previous matchups.
