MEGA MIS WELCOMES IGOKEA, BARAĆ: “ONE OF THE TOUGHEST TEAMS IN THE LEAGUE, WITH TREMENDOUS EXPERIENCE”

The Mega MIS basketball team is hosting Igokea in the 13th round of the ABA League at the Ranko Žeravica Sports Hall. The match is scheduled for Monday, December 25, at 6:00 PM, and admission is free. Tickets can be picked up at the Sports Hall ticket office from 5:00 PM until the start of the game.

Coach Marko Barać highlighted the key factors for his team in the match against the team from Laktaši:

“An excellent team, Igokea, is coming to visit us, achieving great results in the ABA League. They are one of the toughest teams in the league with tremendous experience. We need to pay special attention to their offensive rebounds and influence their three-point shooting percentage, which is outstanding. Due to health problems, we had significant difficulties in conducting the training process. With a tremendous effort from the entire team, a victory in this match would be therapeutic for us,” said Barać.

Mega MIS player Andrija Jelavić is aware that his team faces a tough task:

“Igokea is an excellent, solid, and experienced team, as shown in the current season, and we certainly expect a tough and physical game. Regarding us, despite all our health problems, we were fully dedicated to training this week, preparing for the game, and we will certainly give our best to achieve victory,” added Jelavić.

After 12 rounds, Mega MIS has a record of 5-7, while Igokea has nine wins and three losses. These two teams have clashed 20 times in the ABA League, with Mega being more successful with 12 triumphs.
