MEGA MIS VISITS SPLIT, BARAĆ: “TO WIN THROUGH GOOD PLAY”

In the 12th round of the ABA League, the Mega MIS basketball team is away to face the Split team, with the game scheduled for Monday, December 18, at 18:00, with live coverage on TV Arena Sport.

Coach Marko Barać emphasized his great respect for the opponents, acknowledging the uncertainty regarding the available lineup but expressing hope for a good result:

We have a challenging away game in Split on an extremely difficult court. This team has made adjustments to its roster by bringing back some of the best players from the last season, Šorter and Saliven. Now they are a very serious playoff contender. We had a delicate health situation in the past few days, and the participation of several players will depend on the decision on the day of the match. Despite everything, I hope we will come together and have the opportunity to win through good play,” Barać said.

Mega MIS player Omercan Ilyasoglu emphasized the significance of the upcoming match:

We expect a tough game on the road. Split is a quality team that has strengthened even more, and they will certainly want to secure a victory. This is a very important game for us, and we will give our best to win on the road,” added Ilyasoglu.

After 11 rounds, Mega has a record of 5-6, while Split has two fewer victories (3-8). The teams have faced each other six times in the ABA League, with both teams securing three victories at home.
