MEGA MIS WELCOMES ZADAR, BARAĆ: “A VERY GOOD AND EXPERIENCED TEAM, WE WANT TO CONTINUE WITH GOOD PERFORMANCES”
The Mega MIS basketball team was unlucky in the fifth round of the ABA League, as they missed a victory against Budućnost in Podgorica. They will have a chance to get back on track this Sunday when they host the Zadar at the Ranko Žeravica Sports Hall at 12:00. Admission is free, and tickets can be picked up at the Sports Hall box office from 11:00 until the start of the match.
Coach Marko Barać holds great respect for the upcoming opponent:
“Zadar is a very good, experienced, and well-coached team that has been achieving excellent results this season. They have a high level of team chemistry, as they have retained almost the entire lineup from last year. We want to continue with good performances and hope that it will be enough for a victory,” said Barać.
Talented point guard for Mega MIS, Omercan Ilyasoglu, is hopeful for a good result:
“We’ve been working diligently in practice and preparing well for the upcoming challenge. We are aware that every game in this league is tough, but we want to defend our home court and secure another win,” added Ilyasoglu.
Mega MIS enters the sixth round of the league with a record of 2-3, while Zadar has one more victory (3-2). They have faced off against the Croatian team 20 times in the ABA League and have been more successful, with 12 victories, including seven victories out of 10 matches played at home.
